Biography

Level π is the German musician Uwe Cremer (born January 13, 1965), whose musical style is in the context of Krautrock but includes elements of Electronic and Experimental music.

Level π 's first album "Entrance" was published in 2006 under the Garden of Delights label. His second album "Electronic Sheep" appeared on Musea in 2009. His compositions have been compared by various reviewers to work from Klaus Schulze,[1][2] Ash Ra Temple [3] and to Pink Floyd [4] among others.

He guested on solo guitar on the title track of Computerchemist's fourth album Aqual Measure in 2009.

Uwe Cremer grew up in Iserlohn and was introduced to Krautrock and electronic music at the age of nine by Kraftwerk's Autobahn and Comet Melody 2. Further important genres which influenced his musical style are Progressive Rock and also Heavy Metal.[5] At the age of 13, he got his first acoustic guitar and at the age of 23 his first electrical guitar. His first keyboard was a Yamaha PSR SQ 16 in 1998. With the computer as a multi-channel sound recording station, he recorded his first album "Entrance" in 2005. Since 1996, Uwe Cremer lives in Cologne, Germany.
